1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide during registration (name, email, mobile number, shop details, and KYC documents). We also collect usage data such as pages visited, orders placed, and interactions with the platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to: create and manage your shop account, process orders and payments, verify your identity and shop details, send important notifications about orders and account activity, display targeted ads based on your location (pincode/area), and improve our platform and services.

3. KYC Documents

Aadhaar card and other identity documents uploaded during registration are used solely for shop verification purposes. These documents are stored securely with encryption and are accessible only to our verified verification team employees. We do not share KYC documents with any third parties.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with: (a) Supabase for database and authentication, (b) Cloudflare R2 for secure file storage, (c) PhonePe for payment processing, (d) Vercel for hosting. All third-party partners are bound by strict data protection agreements.

5. Offer Codes & Location Data

When you set daily offers, we track which offer codes are generated by customers and verified at your shop. This data is used to measure platform-driven footfall. Location data (pincode/city) is used to show your shop to relevant nearby customers.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data as long as your shop is active on the platform. KYC documents are retained for 5 years as required by applicable regulations. You may request deletion of your account by contacting support@takebound.in.

7. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Payment information is handled entirely by PhonePe and we do not store card details. Files are stored in private Cloudflare R2 buckets with access control.
