Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering a shop on Takebound (takebound.store), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Shop Registration & Verification

You must provide accurate and truthful information during registration, including valid KYC documents (Aadhaar card). Takebound reserves the right to reject or suspend any shop if documents are found invalid, or if the shop violates platform policies. Approval is at Takebound's sole discretion.

3. Commission & Payments

Takebound charges a 10% commission on every order processed through the platform. Delivery charges are collected from customers and forwarded to the relevant delivery partner. Commission is deducted at the time of payment settlement. We use PhonePe as our payment gateway.

4. Product Listings

You are responsible for the accuracy of product descriptions, prices, and stock levels. You must not list prohibited items (alcohol, tobacco to minors, illegal goods, counterfeit products). Maximum 3 photos per product are allowed. Takebound may remove listings that violate these guidelines.

5. Daily Offers & Offer Codes

You may set a daily discount percentage each morning. When customers generate offer codes and visit your shop, you are obligated to honor the stated discount. Refusing a valid, unexpired offer code is a violation of these terms and may result in account suspension.

6. Order Fulfillment

Once you confirm an order, you are obligated to fulfill it. Repeated cancellations of confirmed orders will result in account penalties. You must update order status accurately (confirmed, packed, dispatched). Failure to do so affects your shop rating.

7. Advertising

Ads must be truthful and not misleading. Ad creatives are subject to review and approval by Takebound employees. We reserve the right to reject any ad without explanation. Ad pricing is set by Takebound and is non-negotiable.

8. Account Suspension & Termination

Takebound may suspend or permanently ban your account if: you provide false information, repeatedly fail to fulfill orders, abuse the offer code system, receive consistently poor ratings, or violate any provision of these Terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

Takebound is a platform that connects customers with local shops. We are not liable for the quality of products sold by shops. Disputes between shops and customers should be resolved between the parties. Takebound may mediate but is not responsible for outcomes.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance. Major changes will be communicated via email.
